ok...this is a work in progress for my mom. its her when she got married! im gunna give it to her for her anniversary or birthday or somethin like that. heres the original pic and my drawing. if you have any suggestions please feel free to speak ur mind!

Just a suggestion? Make the shadows on her face in your drawing darker: more contrast, otherwise, the hair is going to be too dark compared to the face. Also, the chin, and the tip of her nose should be a little bit more round in your drawing. The dress/the lace will look neat if you do it with lighter shading like you have her face right now...it will make it look really soft against her face and hair if you DO make the face shading darker. 
Good job on getting the likeness. Also, as was said before, the eye does need to go back a bit, and the nose is a bit too long. YOu have the lips going kind of straight, so she does not look like she is smiling like she is in the photo.
All of this is just a suggestion, as you asked for it I applaud you for striving to do better.
